I have always had a keen eye for detail and capturing life's little moments. I remember before I could even drive, I had my mom take a group of friends into town each weekend to the local Krogers for us to spend 30 minutes in the photo booth, I was way ahead of the selfie phenomenon! I loved documenting each friendship in different lights and bringing out the personalities in each friend. There is nothing more gratifying than capturing raw emotion. Even 25 years later, I can still feel the mood by looking at the pictures. That in itself inspires me to do the same for each of my clients whether it’s a graduation, wedding or family session.

I have a degree in journalism from the University of Houston and I have had the privilege of photographing families, seniors and weddings for over 20 years. I have studied under 4 different photographic masters and have blended my classic training with my photojournalistic nature for a unique style. 

I have a minor in corporate communication which has paired beautifully with my graphic design background and has enabled me to help build brands and market companies. I have a passion for helping small companies grow and take each client on with the same vision to build a brand, marketing materials and develope social media strategies that will take them to the next level and create a sustaining career in the everchanging marketplace.

My work is natural, simplistic, observant, organic and most of all, it's real. My goal is to capture my clients emotions through the lens whether it's excitement over graduating or the passion between a bride and her groom.

My strength and inspiration comes from the Lord, my husband, my three amazing children and my family.
